When it comes to developing your own dog-training business, you want someone who also knows dog training.

The dog industry is unique and ever-changing. Unlike other industries, the dog training industry requires dog trainer business owners to clearly and with care articulate their dog training service - what tools, methods, and techniques they use and what clients can expect after investing hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars into dog training.

I graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Marketing and Advertising.

My experience begins with direct in-person cold call sales. Finishing 8th in the nation, I was asked to be a sales mentor in Chicago for over 800 students who were flown in across the nation. I was further promoted to Account Manager and worked in the Atlanta headquarters as a Senior Account Manager.

Upon graduation from the University of Idaho, I became a Regional Sales Manager moving from Idaho to North Carolina. There I recruited, hired, and trained 50 of my own personal interns as well as taught over 500 students over the course of 5 days on sales, client relations, account management, and more.

As time passes I go on to become a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Community Manager, and Marketing Director.

Throughout that time I was learning to train dogs by mentoring under a local professional dog trainer who graduated from Tom Rose Dog Training School for Dog Trainers.

I left the corporate world and in 2019 I started my first dog training business. Unfortunately, due to domestic violence, for my own safety, I was forced to leave my company.

During that time between 2019 - 2021, I leveraged my sales, management, and marketing skills to grow my Instagram to 60k, YouTube to 23k, and TikTok to 96k. I attended seminars, attended online certification programs, traveled to train online celebrities' dogs, learned and helped train police and military K9s, and was one of the first dog trainers in the industry to bring online dog training courses/memberships to the forefront as COVID spread and the lockdown happened.

It was during that time that I hit over half a million in revenue in only 3 months.

Late 2022 I restarted my entire life after domestic violence. I burned everything to the ground in order to free myself from abuse and Team K9 Training was born.

I launched my flagship program, "The Dog Trainer Business Accelerator" shortly after and helped over 100 aspiring dog trainers launch their own businesses.

I have traveled to other dog training facilities around the country helping them shoot and film content for their programs, online courses, website content, social media, and selling of protection dogs.

During these trips, I also assess the quality of training from the trainers, and present seminars to help these trainers gain deeper and broader knowledge of dog training and client education.

Additionally, I review over all current processes in place and assist in developing new SOPs that help streamline and optimize every aspect of the business.
